Rust is autumn's working colour, the orange-brown the beeches turn, and the bracken keeps all winter. Velvet suits it: the pile deepens the shade to ember in low light and lifts it to amber by the window. It warms a neutral room faster than anything else we make. Inside, a duck feather filler, generous enough to lean into hard. Made in the UK.

Styling Notes:

The 50cm is the everyday square and works on most sofas. The 60cm suits a deep sofa or the back row on a bed, with more to lean into; the 40 x 60cm rectangle sits in front of either, or alone on a bedroom chair; the 35cm is the small one for the front of an arrangement.

With the Marigold Country Walk, it's hedge and bracken, the autumn pairing; against the Natural Linen, the matt cloth makes the pile look deeper still, which is the pairing we reach for first.
