About Dispatch & Timing

• We prepare orders Monday to Friday.

• Orders placed late in the day are processed the next working day.

• We don’t dispatch on weekends or bank holidays.

• Rural, Highlands & Islands postcodes are welcome; please allow an extra day or two where services take longer.

• PO Boxes: small parcels may be possible via Royal Mail, but lamps/oversized items need a street address.

Fragile & Oversized Items (Lamps, Shades & Candles)

• How we pack: Lamps are boxed securely with protective wrap. Shades are boxed separately to prevent pressure marks. Candles and Diffusers ship upright with padding to keep secure.

• In the parcel: You may receive more than one box. Fragile items may need a signature.

• On opening: Lift items by their base, not the cable/harp. Avoid sharp tools near fabric or glass.

Missed Delivery, Address Changes & Order Edits

• Change of address (before dispatch): Email sales@homewiththerudds.com as soon as possible. We’ll confirm if we can amend it.

• After dispatch: Please use the Royal Mail tracking link to request redelivery, safe place, or local collection where available.

• Missed delivery: Royal Mail will leave a card or notification. Rearrange delivery or collect from your local office within their holding window.

• Redelivery fees: If a parcel returns to us after the holding period, we can reship at the original delivery cost.

• Split shipments: To protect fragile goods items may ship separately. You’ll receive tracking for each parcel.

Returns Summary

You have 14 days from the date of arrival to return items in their original, unused condition with all packaging. Please take care when re-boxing shades and fragile items so they’re protected in transit.
