Linen, the soft grey-beige of the flax fibre itself, with the slub left in the yarn. Run a hand across it, and the weave reads like handwriting; no two covers repeat exactly. The edge is piped in ivory, so the square holds its line next to a busier print. Inside, a duck feather filler, for a plump that gives when you lean and shakes back in a second. Made in the UK.

Styling Notes:

The 50cm is the everyday square and fits most sofas. The 60cm suits a deep sofa or the back row on a bed, with more to lean into; the 40 x 60cm rectangle sits in front of either, or alone on a bedroom chair; the 35cm is the small one for the front of an arrangement.

Natural is the base the rest of the range is built over: behind the Broadway Floral, it lets the hand-painted flowers do the talking, and beside the Rust Velvet, its matt surface makes the velvet's sheen read deeper.
