Muscari is the grape hyacinth, the small flower that turns March borders a deep violet-blue, and this velvet holds that exact depth. Brush the pile one way and the colour goes near-navy; brush it back, and the violet lifts out of it. It reads deepest by lamplight, when the nap catches, and the blue seems lit from within. Inside, a duck feather filler, so the velvet keeps a full, easy shape. Made in the UK.

Styling Notes:

The 50cm is the everyday square and works on most sofas. The 60cm suits a deep sofa or the back row on a bed, with more to lean into; the 40 x 60cm rectangle sits in front of either, or alone on a bedroom chair; the 35cm is the small one for the front of an arrangement.
