This throw is woven at one of Britain's last remaining vertical woollen mills, in Yorkshire, a mill that has been producing wool cloth since 1837.

The Merino wool is carefully sourced and prized for its exceptionally fine fibres and the softness they produce. At the mill, every stage happens under one roof: the raw wool is dyed, carded, spun into yarn, and woven on rapier looms.

After weaving, the cloth is scoured using pure water drawn from boreholes 800 feet below the mill, then carefully finished and pressed, a process that brings out the soft, refined handle that makes Merino feel so distinctive.

Every inch is inspected three times during production. The result is a throw with the indulgent softness of fine Merino and the long‑lasting durability that comes from nearly two centuries of craft.
